Hey guys,
I have been eating healthier for a few months now and have slimmed down a lot of lbs. I eat healthy during the week and can give myself a little treat. Today, I was surprised by my hubby bringing the kids and I some delish doughnuts. I only had one, and guess witch one? Oh yeah, the Christmas Inspired striped doughnut. The doughnut is a glazed one, but kicked up a notch by it's festive decor.
I'm off to see a friend, enjoy nature and a Christmas activity that will be held.
Happy Sunday, Jenn :)

..::: Natural Tea for a Cold :::..
Hey guys!
So, yeah I have a buggy cold. I don't like drinking medicine. I rather use the natural remedies our granny's used in the past. Yup, I still use them and they definitely work for me. At this moment I used cinnamon sticks, anise stars, cloves, lemon and a yellow smiley face I made to jazz up my cup. Use honey instead of sugar.
The smiley face is super easy to do. All I did was cut a circle from white paper to paste on on each side of the cardboard circle I cut also. The yellow face was colored with markers along with the smile in red and eyes in black. Take a piece of thread or yarn and tie it to a cinnamon stick left over from your tea. Wait a couple of minutes to cool down before you handle them. Make a knot at the other end of the thread and cut off excess. Glue with school glue the small circled knot shown in the picture below and paste two cardboard, one on each side. Next step is to paste the yellow smiley faces, one on each side also. So now you have your get well soon natural tea for you or a loved one. They will love this extra detail.

..::: Aromatherapy to Clear Your Sinus :::..
Hi,
December is here and along with it comes a catchy flu or cold. Yes, even in the tropical island you can catch a cold. I tend to use home remedies such as making my own tea and use essential oils that I burn in oil burners. The scent in either eucalyptus or pine are good for unplugging the sinus.
A good essential oil is smelled throughout your house. Try to use an oil that is in a dark colored bottle, it's a great tip! There are lots of brands out on the market and some tend to change it's aroma. Try to use one that is pleasing to you and the brand you prefer.
As for the burner, I rather like to use a ceramic burner and place a tea light inside of it. Please keep these products away from children. Place it in a safe place.
Take care, Jennifer XOXO
